Hi, I’m Saulo Costa.
Professional cash-game player, coach, content creator and founder of Metagame, the largest Cash Game stable in the World. I make poker strategies simple so that you can make more money.
The short version
I was going to be a Software Engineer. In 2015, I was already working as a junior dev on tech startups, and by 2016 I would graduate from the best university in my country and get my Computer Engineering degree. But my passion was on something else...
Poker was all I could think about. So I dropped out of college and start grinding lowstakes. I started at 5nl in 2016, and by 2019 I was crushing 500nl and making 6 figures/year with poker. As a 25 year old at the time, it was a dream come true.
In that same year, I started building my legacy - Metagame was born. I took 2 private coaching students and started staking them. I took my knowledge and money and turned it into a business. By 2022, we had over 200 active contracts, and in 2026 we crossed the $10,000,000 mark in students winnings.
Since 2023, I produce poker content for YouTube, with the goal of sharing my knowledge and helping as many people as possible get better at this beautiful game we love.
The path
Dropped out of college and quit my internship in October. It was all-in on Poker.
Started grinding micro/low stakes. Moved up from 5nl to 50nl in a year.
Turned Pro. Moved out of my parents house to live with my fiancee, with 100% of my income from the lowstakes grind.
Reached Midstakes online. Got my first ever private coaching student. Made $70,000 from poker in my 2nd year as a pro.
The year everything happened. Moved up to 500nl, founded a staking business and started making videos for Run It Once.
The pandemic boom. My first son was born. Metagame doubled in size in a year. Took my first ever shots at high stakes.
We launched our micros division, Metagame Foundation. Started coaching for GTO Wizard. My second son was born.
Metagame reached a huge size. Over 200 active staking contracts. Students winnings approaching $5,000,000.
The YouTube year. Started making videos for YouTube, got recognized in Vegas. Launched a mentorship program.
My baby girl was born. Reached over 30,000 subs on YouTube. Launched a community for cash grinders, Cash Made Simple. Won High Limit Poker Brazil
Produced over +300 strategy videos for my community. A Metagame player I coached for years won the Cash Game World Championship.
We crossed $10,000,000 in students winnings. My 4th child was born. And a new big project is coming...
